Standard scope: one base model and one configuration. The category is represented by a front bicycle light. If a rear light is included, its body and scope are specified separately; front and rear lights are not assumed to count as one base model.

Key issues this design addresses

• Make quick release convenient and genuinely secure.
• Aim the front beam using a defined tilt angle.
• Make charging after rain practical for the commute.

Class 1 is original technology development; Class 2 introduces new technology; Class 3 uses a new structure or power supply. Classification depends on reusable technology and project boundaries. SKD adds the agreed parts breakdown, interfaces and assembly handover information.
