01 / Your challenge

The question we address

How can you build a product family with less duplicated development?

02 / Deliverables

What you receive

  • Product family map: connect applications, customers and commercial roles to sales ranges, platforms and configurations
  • Commonality and differentiation matrix: boundaries for housings, light sources, drivers, controls, mounting and connection accessories
  • Platform and system requirements: interface constraints, potential compatibility, required documentation and verification items
  • Development sequence and representative models: prioritise development and validation batches by reuse value, dependencies and evidence
03 / Scope and boundaries

What is included

One planned platform, up to three sales ranges and six representative configurations. Includes a candidate compatibility matrix for five groups of system accessories and the associated engineering verification requirements. Detailed design, drawings, BOMs and physical testing are agreed separately. Includes two consolidated revisions. Delivery is within 20 working days after complete information is received and work is authorised. Revisions address consolidated feedback within the agreed objectives; new objectives are scoped separately.
