Complete-product and SKD ceiling light development, from concept to transferable engineering documentation, across six disciplines.

Complete-product developmentSKD development

When this service fits

  • Moving from product concept into engineering development requires coordination across disciplines.
  • A complete product or SKD kit will be manufactured and assembled by a designated factory; interfaces and handover rules need to be aligned.
  • You want one set of objectives, revisions and verification requirements to guide development towards a production-ready design.

What you receive

An engineering package across six areas: industrial design, mechanical, electrical, optical, thermal and packaging. Deliver agreed drawings or models, BOMs, interface, assembly and verification documents. SKD adds split supply, component packaging and assembly requirements for the designated factory.

Clear scope
Agree inputs, disciplinary boundaries and stage deliverables before starting
Aligned revisions
Drawings, BOMs, verification and issue logs remain traceable
Ready to hand over
Deliverables identify agreed interfaces, limitations and next responsibilities

Service scope

One base model is the starting point for the quotation. Series variants, configurations, design and revision counts, and prototype stages are specified in the brief. The work addresses how a ceiling light is used at home, its appearance and installation, visual comfort, temperature rise and maintenance.

What to prepare

Product requirements, target market, performance and cost targets, reference products, existing technical documents, and manufacturing and assembly conditions.
