What you receive

Understand the deliverables before choosing how to work together

The following deliverables can be agreed. The project brief defines their depth, quantity and verification responsibilities.

Deliverable / 01

Combination and revision list

Identify luminaire, power supply, controller, gateway and software revisions.

How this deliverable is checked

Each test corresponds to a specific combination.

Deliverable / 02

Selection and interface recommendations

Compare interfaces, functions, settings and limitations.

How this deliverable is checked

Recommended combinations have supporting evidence and prerequisites.

Deliverable / 03

Compatibility test matrix

List configurations, functions, fault conditions and actual results.

How this deliverable is checked

Distinguish passed, failed and untested cases.

Deliverable / 04

Configuration and issue documentation

Handover setup steps, issue records and regression requirements.

How this deliverable is checked

Tests of the agreed combination can be reproduced; untested areas are explicit.

Start with your current challenge

This is a useful starting point when

Situation 01 Luminaires, power supplies, gateways and controls all claim the same protocol but do not interoperate reliably
Situation 02 Dimming, power restoration or offline behaviour differs between components
Situation 03 A module change or firmware update means a previously tested combination needs reassessment
Service scope and effort

Agree the scope and quotation at the depth you need

What you can engage us to do

Agree device combinations, revisions, operating conditions and integration rounds for the luminaires and modules involved.

Information needed before we begin

Product electrical/control architecture, device models and revisions, protocols, functions and operating conditions.

Agreed according to objectives, deliverables and effort
Quoted after the scope is confirmed
Selection and compatibility planCompatibility testing support

Fees depend on device combinations, hardware and software revisions, functions tested and integration rounds. Sharing a protocol name does not prove interoperability.

We confirm workload, service period and both parties' responsibilities before issuing a formal quotation. Samples, site work and third-party services are listed separately where required.

Process and responsibilities

Every step establishes the basis for the next

01Lock down combinations and functions
02Compare selection and interfaces
03Run the agreed compatibility tests
04Handover configuration and regression recommendations
Engagement boundaries

This service tests combinations of existing products and modules. New controller boards or software development are handled by electrical and control design; protocol certification and whole-home deployment are scoped separately.

Other questions you may have

Will devices from the same brand or using the same protocol work together automatically?

Conclusions apply to the specific models, revisions, configurations and functions tested. New combinations or changes after an update require regression testing.

How is this service accepted?

Every agreed combination has recorded inputs, revisions, steps, results and limitations. Untested combinations are labelled clearly.

What happens if the scope changes or information is incomplete?

We first assess how gaps or changes affect deliverables, timing and fees. They are included only after both parties agree; items outside the original scope are recorded separately.

How should information be shared and kept confidential?

Start with a summary of the product type, objectives and issues. Share detailed information after its intended use, confidentiality requirements, access scope and delivery permissions have been agreed.

Start with a brief summary

Tell us about your objectives and current challenges

Describe your current stage, main objectives and desired deliverables, then we can confirm the suitable scope and next step together.

Use the enquiry page to share a project summary. Detailed information can follow once its use and confidentiality requirements are agreed.
