What you receive

Understand the deliverables before choosing how to work together

The following deliverables can be agreed. The project brief defines their depth, quantity and verification responsibilities.

Deliverable / 01

Electrical and control architecture

Define the relationships between the power supply, loads, control modules and signals.

How this deliverable is checked

Interface voltages, signals, connections and responsibility boundaries can be checked.

Deliverable / 02

Circuit and component documentation

Deliver schematics, board files and component BOMs at the agreed level of detail.

How this deliverable is checked

File revisions are consistent, with selection rationale for critical components.

Deliverable / 03

Firmware and functional definition

Specify control states, fault handling and the agreed software files.

How this deliverable is checked

Functional requirements correspond to versions and the agreed source-file delivery scope.

Deliverable / 04

Functional verification records

Record functions, procedures, results and limitations for each operating condition.

How this deliverable is checked

Executed tests have original records; tests not performed are identified explicitly.

Start with your current challenge

This is a useful starting point when

Situation 01 The luminaire, power supply and control modules have been selected separately, but their interfaces do not align
Situation 02 New dimming, sensing or communication functions require new circuitry or software
Situation 03 The design lights up, but abnormal supply conditions and functional limits have no verification plan
Service scope and effort

Agree the scope and quotation at the depth you need

What you can engage us to do

Fees are based on power/control boards, protocols, functions and test conditions, with source-file and software deliverables defined explicitly.

Information needed before we begin

Power supply, wattage, load, control functions, protocols and operating conditions.

Fees depend on the number of power or control boards, protocols and functions, software delivery depth, integration conditions and iteration rounds.

The agreed scope, fees and delivery conditions are confirmed through discussion and in writing.

Process and responsibilities

Every step establishes the basis for the next

01Define requirements and interfaces
02Design circuits and controls
03Board-level integration and functional testing
04Organise revisions and hand over engineering files
Engagement boundaries

New circuit or software development is included in this service. Selecting and validating combinations of existing modules is covered by the relevant specialist service. Prototype boards, third-party testing and certification are listed separately.

Other questions you may have

Does delivery include source code?

The quotation specifies software, project files, dependencies, licensing conditions and permitted uses, so executable-only delivery cannot be mistaken for full source-code delivery.

How is this service accepted?

Interfaces and functions are mapped individually, revisions are traceable, and agreed operating conditions are tested with limitations recorded.

What happens if the scope changes or information is incomplete?

We first assess how gaps or changes affect deliverables, timing and fees. They are included only after both parties agree; items outside the original scope are recorded separately.

How should information be shared and kept confidential?

Start with a summary of the product type, objectives and issues. Share detailed information after its intended use, confidentiality requirements, access scope and delivery permissions have been agreed.

Describe your current stage, main objectives and desired deliverables, then we can confirm the suitable scope and next step together.

Use the enquiry page to share a project summary. Detailed information can follow once its use and confidentiality requirements are agreed.
